I have never been to Tahoe in the fall and I love it! Adam and I had a great time with family and relaxing. And aside from the unfortunate encounter of the fireplace ledge with Adam's lower lip, all went well. Enjoy the pics!

Pumpkins in the Park
Last Saturday we took Adam to his inaugural pumpkin patch. And we didn't just "go" to the pumpkin patch - we took the TRAIN to the pumpkin patch! I love taking the light rail. . . I feel so European. . . don't ask me why, I just do. And, like icing on the cake, no one was throwing up in the train on the ride home like they were last time!
Adam got to throw pumpkins, pull up lawn flags, shake cones, climb on a hook and ladder fire truck and watch an oddly creepy marionette puppet production of Rumpelstiltskin. All in all it was a successful day.

Hello Fall
I love fall. A lot. I love wanting to curl up under a blanket with some hot chocolate and a good book, bake something involving pumpkin and put on a scarf. Not to mention choose and assemble a fun Halloween costume, carve a pumpkin and roast pumpkin seeds. But now that Adam is around, the curling up under a blanket option isn't as feasible. So, we go outside to play. One of my new favorites is watching Adam run back and forth over a bunch of leaves to hear them crackle under his feet. I still love fall.
