The Lamp

When we moved into our apartment two years ago, I remember first noticing these lamps and how they reminded me of the lamp in "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" (I'm sorry MLS Handbood of Writing Style, I can't remember how to properly indicate a book title. . . is it underlining or "quotes" or italics. . . hmm. . . I'm sure Brandy will tell me). Anyway, I always really liked the lamps. And it turns out that maybe it is genetic, because Adam LOVES the lamps. Whenever we walk past one he starts bouncing up and down in his stroller, looking up at it, kicking his legs and often giggles. I don't know what it is - maybe he sees a faun standing next to it that I can't see.

So, one day I took him out to actually touch one and play around it. This is what we got.
